Alice's Wonderscopes

  Alice in Aries needs to explore the social world. She has an opportunity to be brave & step into new social spaces she has avoided. 

Take Alice's lead & jump down the social rabbit hole by trying something new. If fear has been the navigating principle that has ruled your decision making, now is the time to take a risk socially. 

This may take the form of joining a new sport team, or book club. Going to workshops or short courses or getting involved in the local council. Even joining a new gym or meetup group. 

Just like Alice we are constantly in the process of becoming who we are, but it takes the courage to risk failure to do so. 

On the 20th February, Saturn conjuncts Neptune in Aries. In Wonderland this translates as The Dodo, sitting down for a cup of tea with Alice at the Mad Hatter's Tea party. This does not happen in the book, so let me explain. This scene symbolises breaking repetitive patterns & opening up to new experiences.

What do you want your life to look like Aries? Will you have the courage to take a chance to make the dream a reality? A new world is unfolding for you. It is time to get out there, meet new people & forge a new idenity. 

If you are already living your dream social life Aries, then use this time to align with your spiritual values & give them form, meaning & expression. 

One more thought. Do you have a spiritual community, or place to connect to spirit? This may be a church, a place in nature, or a meditation space in your home. 

  Alice in Taurus is all about work, career, & reputation this February - March. With Mars in Aquarius conjunct your midheaven at the beginning of the February, there will be a lot of drive to stand out, & for the unique you to be recognized. 

If you have an idea that you think may be successful, then now is a good time to start to bring that idea into reality. 

You may have support, from your friendship group, or another group you are a part of that will help you bring this idea into reality. 

If you are looking for love, then be open to meeting someone that you meet through work or your work colleagues.

 Alice has many opportunities to learn in Wonderland, but it requires her to listen and reflect. Be a listener. 

Around 11th February Mercury (cognition) conjuncts the North Node (growth) in Pisces in your 11th House. In Wonderland this is the White Rabbit (communication) meeting the Red Queen (destiny, growth). This never happens in the book, so let me explain what that means in the context of your astrology Taurus. 

What this means is that curiosity will lead you to what your soul signed up for. So be curious Taurus. Follow your curiosity, ask questions & listen. 

Your friends & work colleagues may hold more knowledge than you have previously realised, & their perspectives may be a missing piece in the puzzle of you knowing how to get what you want. 

  The Alice Twins have been busy, busy, busy. In February - March they are looking to integrate some of their learning. The constant stream of information that Gemini engages with needs to be processed. It comes to a point where the conscious & unconscious minds need to work together to make meaning from the knowledge that has been acquired.  

Alice is inside her own dream, & she is trying to make sense of what she is experiencing.

For Gemini, during February - March  it takes the form of Uranus in Taurus in the 12th House. I will explain what that means.

Your mind is always working overtime, & it is time to allow your dreams to take some of the heavy lifting to integrate what you have been experiencing & learning. 

The integration of all that learning may take the form of the images in your dreams. If you are not writing your dreams down, then now is the time to get this happening. 

Uranus will be crossing your Ascendant in late April, which means at that time you will have a strong urge for change & personal freedom. Your dreams are supporting you by providing images of how to navigate this urge for change soon. 

In Wonderland it means that the Cheshire Cat will be running the show in April. He is a truth speaker & catalyst facilitator. This may translate as you coming to new understandings & seeing the world with new eyes. Then speaking truths that may cause others to be uncomfortable, which could lead to conflict. 

Reflecting on the signposts in your dreams now, means that you will have a stronger ability to know when to take risks & speak your truth down the track so that it supports & not hinders your journey. 

  In February - March Alice in Cancer is diving deep inside her family system. The joint possessions, shared family stories, sacred spaces & internal pathways to family system healing, along with emotions impacting sexuality & intimacy are all illuminated under an Aquarian Sun. 

This means that as these issues emerge this you probably need to approach them in a new, more objective way. The old ways of working through these issues will not be successful as your need for what is fair, when it comes to family systems, will likely leave you detached, aloof & cranky.

With Venus in Aquarius in your 8th house in February, you will be asked to overcome these issues by freeing yourself from rigid narratives of fairness that tie you to the trauma of being wronged. A reframe of your story that is progressive & unconventional can align you with the freedom that you want. 

In Wonderland Alice's sister is the embodiment of Venus. She has a deep appreciation for Alice's imagination. She understands that Alice is a seeker, & she holds a genuine regard for Alice's relationship to story.

People who have an understanding of storytelling have a greater capacity for change. I loved the quote by Michael Margolis, "If you want to change the world, you need to change your story". 

It may be an uncomfortable couple of months Cancer, but if you can hold space for yourself and shift your relationship to your family story, you may just find that your days are brighter and the weight that you carry is lessened. 

On another note, be mindful of what you are sharing with people in your professional life. Hold your cards close to your chest. Be careful with your words. Best to avoid sharing your opinion unless it is necessary. 

  February is going to be an emotional month for Alice in Leo. It will begin with having to manage a lot of anger. The anger may turn to rage, as that person, or people that you are angry with will know how to push your buttons. 

Feelings of isolation may well creep in, & you may find the people that you thought would be there for you are nowhere to be seen. Or worse, they may be right by your side, but not willing or able to lift a finger to help. 

In Wonderland anger is expressed through the Red Knight (Mars). I will explain what this means for you Leo. 

The Red Knight is the part of you that will fight, without really knowing what the rules are, or rather what he is fighting for. 

The lesson here is don't let your emotions get the better of you this month. The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius on the 17th of February, in your 7th House brings a powerful catalyst for endings & beginnings. With emotions running high this month, you may act like the Queen of Hearts & see enemies that are friends, & just like the Red Knight you may enter a battle before thinking things through.

Just know that you are going to be more reactionary this month, so before you take up arms, make sure it’s for the right reasons and not because you are feeling backed into a corner. Be careful not to let pain turn you into the villain of someone else's story. 

There is strong creative energy around in the middle of February, & music, healing and the arts will be a great source of comfort for you. 

  In the midst of chaos let your creativity be your way back out of Wonderland. 

  Alice in Virgo starts the February with needing to be strategic in how she approaches her relationships. Some say that honesty is the best policy, but for Alice in Virgo, this month diplomacy is the best policy. 

If you are someone that wears your heart on your sleeve, it’s time to hold back & be aware of the power you may be giving away by sharing all of who you are right away. If you are overly guarded, you are being asked to dissolve boundaries that prevent you from letting others in, but choose wisely with whom you trust, & take baby steps. 

What you are being asked to do is to be mindful of how you are in relationships, & to not be on 

auto-pilot. You need to be aware of what you share or don't share, & how that impacts your relationships. At times information really is power, & we should share power with peope who have our backs. 

Saturn (form, structure) conjuncts Neptune (dreams, spiritual values) in the 7th house (relationships) on the 20th February. Let me explain what that means. There is a need to protect the vision of what you want as your dreams of what you believe a relationship can offer you are coming into form.

What do you want Virgo? As we all have heard many times, you need to love yourself before you can love someone else, or let love in. Venus, the goddess of love and beauty lives in Alice’s heart. But what does self love look like? That’s the question you may need to answer in March. 

It's okay if this takes time. It is all a process, but the time to start the process is NOW ! 

  Love is in the air, & as an air sign that is ruled by Venus, the goddess of love & beauty, that is right up Alice in Libras Avenue. This month all your hopes & dreams may come into form. 

If you are single, you may find that you meet a dream lover. It may be wonderful, or you may be in relationship with an illusion. 

February and March will bring love affairs & romance into your world. Have fun Libra, with your current love or a new love. Just be. You are being asked to just be within the time & the moment that are you are in. The time is now. Be present.

For most of us the hardest thing to do Libra is to be in the now. "The present is a present, so treat it that way" Ari Gurtsburg.

In Wonderland this translates as Alice arriving in Wonderland. She has fallen through the rabbit hole & has arrived in Wonderland. Her senses are alive & she is in the now. Alice is present, & be available to the moment. 

It may be useful to reflect on your family of origin, & your family story. Within your family system you are being asked to rise above your emotions & the needs of your inner child & to be an adult. 

This is not an easy space to step into. It is asking you to adult. To engage with your family beyond your childhood. If you no longer have contact with your family of origin, you are being asked to engage with your family story beyond your childhood wounds. 

For anyone this is probably one of the most challenging things to do consciously. But if you can achieve this with your family, you will be rewarded with the blessing of autonomy. Making decisions from a place of independent thought & what is right in front of you, rather than a place of woundedness & being controlled by the past. 

Imagine no longer being adrift in your family story. Rather being the author of your life. Creating the life you want, & being available to the person in front of you.

  There are big opportunities in work & career for Alice in Scorpio. It's time to think big, dream big & write down what you want. Visualize, create a vision board, whatever it is that helps you hold the vison of what you want. 

Jupiter (abundance) is sitting smack bang on your midheaven (work & career). In Wonderland this would translate as Alice going to see a career counsellor, & when she goes to the appointment, her career counsellor is a blue caterpillar sitting on a mushroom, smoking a hookah. 

Whilst this doesn't happen in the books, so lets unpack this. What it means for you Scorpio is that you are being asked one of the big questions in life, "who are you"?

In the current planetary alignment, when the caterpillar asks Alice "Who are you"? he is inviting her, & you,  to question the version of yourself you have learned to be, versus who you want to become. 

Who are you Scorpio? 

The midheaven in the birth chart is more than work and career, it is your reputation, your calling, what you contribute. It is purpose beyond profession, meaning before status. 

So, when Alice walks into the career counselling appointment she meets a sage. One who asks her to expand her possibilities & live into her full potential. This requires her to ask some big questions. The caterpillar sits on a mushroom, smoking a hookah, both consciousness expanding symbols. Think BIG. You can bring your dreams to reality, break free from a situation that is holding you back. 

As Neptune (dreams) & Saturn (reality), meet in Aries this month, a rare and deeply symbolic alignment occurs where you are being asked to ground your vision for what you want your next fifteen years to look like.  

With the conjunction occurring in Aries, you are being asked to be courageous & take action. So really think about what you want, & take the steps to make it happen, as what you want may be more in reach that you think. 

  Alice in Sagittarius is realising that it may be time to branch out past her current friendship group. She has been spending too much time with the White Queen, & is starting to feel like she is going backwards. The White Queen represents familiarity & safety. Comforting, but limiting if Alice stays too long.

What this means for you Sagittarius is that you will benefit from trying new things & meeting new people. This is not to say that you need to leave your current friends behind, but a new person in your life can open up whole new adventures that push you past your comfort zone. 

On another note, there may be a lot of intensity with siblings in February - March, with lots coming up from the past. Alice in Sagittarius has an opportunity to break a family pattern with her siblings. Your siblings were the first peers that you engaged with. They are the map of how you will engage with your peers in the world. Is there a pattern that you may be playing out that was embedded by your sibling relationships that is beyond your awareness that leaves you feeling like a victim in your family?  How does that impact on your current peer relationships?

Sagittarius, you are being asked go within yourself, reflect & understand how any dysfunction in your sibling relationship impacts on how you relate to others.

In Wonderland this would be the confrontation with the Jabberwocky. 

The Jabberwocky appears in a poem in Through the Looking Glass, & what Alice Found There. A boy in the poem is sent into the woods (the unconscious), slays the Jabberwocky & returns with the Dragon's Head. The boy is transformed.

Just like the boy in the poem, you need to go into the woods (inner self) and confront some uncomfortable parts of your story. 

If you are an only child, then it may be useful to reflect on how that shaped you & how it impacts or informs how you engage with the world around you. 

These are big concepts, but you are a broad, philosophical thinker Sagittarius. 

  Alice in Capricorn is known for craving security. She is a realist & whilst tapped into her dreams & visions, she needs to know that the necessities of life are taken care of. This may have resulted in being too focused on material comfort, working too hard and not taking the time to enjoy the fruits of her labours. 

Capricorn has a strong focus on social standing, on achievement & success. None of this is a bad thing, but in February - March you are being asked to pay more attention to your inner life. 

What enriches you Capricorn? What enables you to exhale & just be, relax & enjoy what is in front of you? There is a saying, "want what you have". This enables you to be in the moment. Ambition is a wonderful thing, but appreciation of what you have achieved is also important. 

What it comes down to Capricorn is values. Are you stopping, listening to yourself, & living in alignment with your values?

The asteroid Vesta is in your second house in Februray - March. In Wonderland this would translate as Alice walking into the garden of talking flowers and spending time with the talking Daisies. They have a message for her & there are consequences for not taking the time to listen. I know this is abstract so let me break it down for you.

The second house is how you earn money, your values & your talents, which you often make money from. The Daisies represent a part of us that is pure, there is an honesty in this purity. An honesty with self that is in alignment with your core spiritual values. 

Your values are needing to find an expression in the social world. For example, if you value kindness, bring more of that into your working life. Find the room to bring more humanity to your working days.

This may seem trivial Capricorn, but I assure you that as an earth sign you are more aligned with service and devotion than you may think. Living out of sync with your value system is okay for a while, but for many it ends with self-loathing & regret. You are not being asked to quit a well-paying job to pick flowers, you are being asked to find a way to incorporate your spiritual values into the structures of your life.  Remember Capricorn's soul path is devotion not dominance. 

  With Pluto, Mars, Vesta, the Sun, Venus & Mercury all in Aquarius in your first house at the beginning of February, there is a strong focus on identity & how you show up in the world.

The first house is where we meet life. Think of it as a point of invitation. It’s a gateway through which you enter experience, & how others are invited into your world. This is a lot of astrological speak, so let's look at it through a Wonderland lens. 

Alice is at the mouth of the rabbit hole. Will she go in or turn around and return to her history lesson? Of course she will go in! 

Life needs to change Aquarius; you are on the precipice of change. Take the leap. With Mars (action) in Aquarius, you are filled with the impulse to change.

If you have been wanting to start a new business or have a new idea of how to make money, now is a good time to sit down and work out how you are going to make it happen. Put your unconventional, rebellious & free-thinking personality to use & bring your concepts to life. 

With Neptune (dreams) & Saturn (structure), meeting in your second house of money, resources, possessions & self-worth, now is the time to make things happen. 

 The symbol of Aquarius is the water bearer. He pours water from the sky, but it is not water that the water bearer is actually pouring, it is knowledge. You most probably already know what you need to do.

With Neptune & Saturn activating your second house, it may be self-worth that is being activated & challenged. 

When we struggle with self-worth it will show up as burnout, resentment, & a life that is shaped by reaction instead of choice. When we move into a healthy self-worth we often outgrow relationships & our current identity, as a new & more healthy identity emerges. Here we come back to the first house (identity). 

Imagine how it would be to have a regulated nervous system where you make grounded decisions around money & time, where you have an ability to receive without guilt & make choices from a place of discernment not defensiveness. 

It’s a nice dream Aquarius, & one that you can make real. If you choose to. 

  Alice in Pisces is known for going with the flow. But she needs to make some strategic choices around how she is going to navigate life. 

With so many of your planets in the twelfth house (mysticism, withdrawal) at the start of the February you may be feeling more off the planet that you usually do. There may be a strong urge to run away from it all, to hide under the covers, & there is nothing wrong with that.

 It’s a time for endings & you may find that what you once wanted, you are now happy to walk away from, or that it is being taken away. Either way you just need to be smart with how you do this. 

Think about how Alice deals with the Queen of Hearts. She knows that she needs to play by the rules if she wants to keep her head, even though she is fully aware that the Queen of Hearts is ridiculous & blustering. She goes through the motions of a court case that she knows is a farce. 

Unfortunately, you may find yourself in a similar position Pisces. Not a Court room, but having to go through the motions. 

Play the game, after all they are “nothing but a pack of cards”, & retreat when the time is right.

The retreat you are seeking, is one where you may do some real soul searching. The twelfth house asks us to reflect on who we are when no-one is watching, & when we stop trying to be anything at all.

With Jupiter (expansion) in Cancer (feelings) in your fifth house (creativity) at present, you will benefit from music & the arts.

There are strong spiritual rays available to you Pisces. You have an innate ability to tap into healing vibrations, but you need to honour your urge for solitude this month to align with this part of yourself.
